Woolf's Workshops 2024 Programme

We have just completed our penultimate 2023 Workshop/ Seminar and Field Trip , with a stunning Three Day Weekend Nature Experience around the Wellington Region. The first weekend in November of 2024 will repeat the model, so if you’d like to be involved, we are taking expressions of interest via email now!

We have one more Workshop on Wellington South Coast on November 29th in the evening!

We are now working on our programme for 2024, and it’s looking really exciting!

Some of the highlights include, a number of First Light, Last Light Landscape, and Seascape Workshops. We will be facilitating Road Trip to The South Island in the first two weeks of July, and will be taking groups to The Central Plateau, and Coromnadel Thames in late Summer early Spring of next year.

The good news is, we are now able to deliver exciting Workshops on Zoom, and in a virtual space! We can now take our photography education to the world! We can also take on Individual Tuition sessions via Zoom too! We will always be based in Wellington, and will always be showcasing New Zealand, its magnificent people, culture and scenery, however, now what the education can be spread further. South Coast Workshop:

Start time: Wednesday March 13 6:00pm at Princess Bay (Meet in the Car Park)
End time: This workshop will complete around 8pm at Dusk.

Our South Coast Workshop is a three hour event, with focus mainly on Seascape, Nature Wildlife, and Still life.
You will get the best from Simon Woolf's extensive knowledge on the area, as he is out there taking photos almost every week. Simon understands the South Coast even on a bad day. As this is an outdoor workshop rather than Studio style, we would weigh up the weather in case of horizontal torrential - and postpone to a better suited evening.

Prepare for a dramatic, vibrant and totally enjoyable Workshop. With lots of focus on aperture, shutter speed and creative photography.
There is usually plenty of wildlife around, as well as Still life - which is perfect for detail shots. Currently, there is also lots of wildflowers out and around the area.

This workshop also includes a printing voucher where you will be able to print your favourite shot from the Workshop, at A3 size.
We will print it on Long life Epson papers, using Epson Ultra chrome Long life inks.

1-1 tuition with Simon Woolf

Woolf's Workshops also take on Individual Photography Tuition, where we cater and customise to our participants requirements. From the Basics, to Image Enhancement, Macro, Birds, Floral, Landscapes, People and many more topics we tailor make photography tuition where the learning is educational, entertaining and user friendly.

The investment starts at $250 for two hours of tuition, and we also have Half Day, Full day and Weekend options. We take a maximum of two people for Tuition’s, with the second person cost being only $150.00

Whether you are new to photography or have been snapping for years, this is a great way of upskilling yourself and gaining fantastic insights into the latest trends in photography. These are hands-on customised sessions, where you will gain confidence in your camera skills and be empowered and inspired to get out there and take amazing images.

Our Workshops require a minimum of 5 people.

Please don't forget we do customise One on One, or Group Tuition's with Simon. These tuitions can range from the Basics to more advanced subjects and topics. Environmental Portraiture, Phenomenal Phone Photography, Post Production, Macro/Floral/Insects, Landscape, Nature/Wildlife, The Abstract/Creative and Documentary Photography are all popular areas we teach and inspire in.
